Her Silence Says it all

She may say a lot
about crap that
don't matter
And not utter
a word about
things that do

And at times never speak
She will look at you in silence
She will listen to every word
will feel it as you speak
Yet she will smile away
to hide all her grief
While her mind
churns at industrial speeds

She may  say she's okay
When she really is not
She may not probe nor
Ask a lot questions
It’s not she doesn't care
But doesn’t  want to show
 She may look at you in silence
And not utter a word
But her silence will say it all

All you need to do
is read her face
Look into her eyes
and you will see it all
She's not complex
No woman really is
You just need to listen
Listen to the things
that she will never say
